French Crepe Recipe

In these cold days of confinement, the only thing we think about is how to deal with so much "free time". I've seen millions of activities on the internet while waiting for freedom, and one of the most interesting ones is cooking! 😉

A classic recipe from France is crepes! Whether savory or sweet, crepe is always a good choice, and it's super simple to make!

Here is a simple recipe that serves 4 people:

Ingredients

  • 250g of flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2L of milk
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 50g melted butter

Preparation mode:

  • Place the flour in a bowl with the salt and sugar.
  • Make a hole in the middle and pour the eggs into it.
  • Start mixing gently. When the mixture becomes thick, add the cold milk gradually.
  • When all the milk is mixed, the dough should be fluid. If it looks too thick, add a little milk. Then add the melted butter, mix well.
  • Cook the crepes in a hot pan (lightly oiled as a precaution if the pan is non-stick). Pour a small ladle of pasta into the pan, rotate it to distribute the pasta over the entire surface. When the dough comes off the pan, turn the dough side
  • Ready crepes! Now eat with whatever you want!

TIP: add 5ml of beer to the dough. The brewer's yeast gives crepes a unique flavor! 😉

I'm that woman who sings "All I want for Christmas is you" for Christmas, shouts "Charlie Brown" after saying that comes from Santos and loves a coxinha. In other words, I do no more than my obligation.
