Strasbourg confined

During the confinement, the streets of Strasbourg seem like a long and endless May Day. The city is literally empty and pedestrian, bicycle or car traffic is very rare.
Drone pilot Ludovic Lutz wanted to immortalize this historic moment by filming Strasbourg's almost empty streets and squares.

Since Tuesday, March 17, 2020, France has been confined to limit the spread of the Coronavirus, with already 178774 cases in France, and 20265 deaths, being the fifth most contaminated country in the world.

In a 2-minute and 40-minute video posted on April 16 on YouTube, drone Ludovic Lutz, from SkyPic , it shows the Strasbourg streets almost empty.
As if time has stopped or as in a parallel world. Only pedestrians or rare cars remind us that the situation is very real.

The drone rule in France is very strict: it is forbidden to fly over a city, unless very special licenses are obtained.
Special attention is paid to overflights of the city by drone, especially during this period of confinement.

For the filming, the pilot had to obtain the agreement of the city hall, of the city of Strasbourg, of the control services of the airport of Strasbourg / Entzheim and of the supervision of the police.

Since the beginning of the containment, the company also shot these in Belfort or Metz, always in strict accordance with the authorizations. This sometimes takes several weeks to obtain, and that was the case in Strasbourg, as the pilot was able to explain to me.

À bientôt and, Perdoe o meu Francês 😉
